Product Manager

This is a contract-based, hybrid role for a Production Manager located in Pretoria, with flexibility for some remote work. The production manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating every aspect of production, ensuring alignment with project timelines, crew and cast management as well as managing client expectations.

Day-to-day tasks include managing production schedules, supervising on-site and remote production teams, maintaining quality control, and collaborating with clients to ensure satisfaction. The role requires effectively balancing administrative and creative responsibilities within a fast-paced environment on set and in the office

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Fluent in Afrikaans is a non negotiable
• Strong project management skills, with proficiency in tracking budgets and timelines
• Knowledge of video production processes, including pre-production, filming, and post-production
• Ability to work across digital platforms and leverage technology to collaborate remotely
• Extensive contact list when it comes to local crew but more specifically "cast" or local actors, musicians as well as influencers.
• Effective communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless execution of campaigns
• Bachelor's degree in film production, communications, business management, or a related field is preferred
