Structural Designer - Packaging

A leading player in the print, packaging design and development space is seeking an experienced Packaging Structural Engineer to join their growing design team. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically strong individual to take on a senior role within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

As a key member of the structural packaging team, you will be responsible for leading projects from concept through to creation, developing innovative, functional, and sustainable packaging solutions that help clients successfully bring products to market.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead and create a wide range of structural packaging concepts for various clients
  

• Manage projects from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring design intent and functionality are achieved
  

• Work closely with clients and internal sales teams to develop commercially viable and sustainable packaging solutions
  

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting agreed timelines and deadlines
  

• Present and clearly communicate design concepts verbally and visually
  

• Apply strong technical and creative thinking to solve complex packaging challenges
  

• Ensure attention to detail throughout all stages of the design and development process
  

Requirements:

• Three–five years’ experience in a packaging design / structural design role
  

• Proficient in ArtiosCAD
  

• Strong project management and time-management skills
  

• Innovative yet practical thinker, able to work independently or within a collaborative team environment
  

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain design concepts confidently
  

• Proven experience in developing sustainable packaging solutions
  

• Meticulous attention to detail and a structured design thought process
