- Bringing the brief and concept to life based on the client’s needs and vision
- Working and collaborating with project coordinators and the copywriter
- Adhering to a client’s brand identity and guidelines
- Making sure artwork is correct and supplied in the right format / sizes / colour codes before being sent to client for approval
- Work on multiple briefs at the same time
Desired Skills
• Work well under pressure, in a fast-paced marketing environment
• Be creative, adaptable to trends and conceptualise original ideas
• Have a strong, well-rounded portfolio that showcases your individual design aesthetic
• Good communication skills with team
• Be a skilled user of design software
• Mindful of client’s needs
• Have an active interest in art/design and passionate about the work you deliver
Requirements
• Situated in Cape Town
• Reliable transport
• Availability Mon-Fri: 08:00 – 16:30 or 08:30 -17:00
• 3-year Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design and commercial experience
• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet tight deadlines
• Excellent organisational skill and multitasking ability
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Knowledge on PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• An interest in animation or HTML/web design frontend will be an advantage
