Junior Interior Designer

Job description

ACS is fundamentally founded on great design and great client service! We simply love what we do, and that flows into every aspect of how we run a design studio. We are a small two-woman studio and are looking for a lovely, cheerful Interior Designer to join our team. The applicant must be eager to learn and grow, with a teachable spirit.
The position is full time, office based in Pinelands, we are currently a home-based studio
Applicant must have a valid drivers license and their own vehicle. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Technical drawings on AutoCAD
• Sketchup modelling and rendering
• Presentations
• Assisting with office admin where required
• Sample sourcing, collecting and dropping samples
• Site assistance, site surveys
• Being an all-round team player as the position grows

Requirements

• AutoCAD - proficiency in AutoCAD with a knowledge of technical drawings.
• Sketchup – good SketchUp skills and preferably experience with Enscape for rendering.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel, Powerpoint).

Our Studio story began a mere 4 years ago and got off to a racing start.! All of our work to date (and we are over 60 projects of varying sizes) have been based on word of mouth recommendations from happy clients.
Founder,Colette, is based in Cape Town and was raised in the Southern Suburbs of her home City. After a 20+ year career, working across several disciplines within the industry and falling in love with the textures and layering of designing and decorating homes, ACS was born.
