Property Administrator – FINANCE & BOOKKEEPING FOCUS

Overview of the Role:
We are seeking a detail-driven Property Administrator with strong financial and bookkeeping acumen to join our national Property & Facilities Management team. You will support the financial administration of a diverse commercial, retail, and industrial property portfolio, ensuring accurate transaction processing, compliant recordkeeping, and smooth day-to-day operational support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process high volumes of invoices, rent billings, credit notes, and receipting with accuracy.
- Assist with rent collection, arrears monitoring, and financial follow-ups.
- Maintain and reconcile deposit schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage municipal accounts, monitor charges, and resolve discrepancies with relevant authorities.
- Ensure meticulous maintenance of financial and administrative records.
- Manage correspondence, filing systems, and MRI / MDA processing workflows.
- Record, verify, and track utility and meter readings across the portfolio for accurate billing.
- Provide operational and administrative support to Property Managers while partnering closely with the Finance Division.
- Contribute to month-end processes, reconciliations, and audit requirements as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Property Administrator or Property Finance/Admin role.
- Strong financial administration or bookkeeping background (property industry experience preferred).
- Proficiency in MRI / MDA property management systems (essential).
- High accuracy in financial data entry, reconciliations, and recordkeeping.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Professional communicator with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
- Strong team player with a high level of accountability and attention to detail.
