Internal Sales Position available at an exciting printing company based in Cape Town – Catch Media Print Specialists

• Duties and responsibilities
• Process and book in customer orders.
• Conduct quality control spot checks ensuring the company’s service and quality levels are maintained at all times.
• Attend to customer queries as and when they arise within the allocated response time.
• Be knowledgeable about our products, and materials and ensuring questions on print solutions are executed.
• Understanding the processes and capacities of the equipment.
• Communicating with clients and keeping them abreast of all new products and services.
• Perform cost benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential clients to meet their needs.
• Discuss terms and requirements for new clients, COD or account.
• Supply sales pipeline updates daily.
• Quote clients using our Quick Easy quote system and creating sales orders / job tickets.
• Communicating and liaising with the production team.
• Brief installations with relevant installation teams and supply relevant documentation.
• Brief design / DTP / Production and Packaging departments and following up on orders
• Source and request quotes from certain suppliers, not listed on QuickEasy.
• arrange installations.
• Check all open orders on the system weekly / monthly for invoicing (including courier bills)
• Liaise with accounts department and follow up on outstanding payments and terms and client information required.

Requirements

Qualifications/ Experience
Minimum Educational requirements: Grade 12 (tertiary qualification would be advantageous)
Qualifications/ Experience include:
Must have at least 5 Years experience
• Sales experience
• Attention to detail
• Previous print sales experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels. Communication skills – listen, understand, speak clearly and be able to relay information and address client’s needs.
• Selling – be persuasive and speak with confidence and knowledge.
• Be flexible to attend functions and work long hours if and when required.
• Proven work experience preferable in printing industry.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and QuickEasy.
• Interpersonal, problem solving, presentation and organisational skills.
• Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
• Interpersonal skills - need to be able to work with a variety of people daily, build relationships and network.
• Confidence and self-assured and self-motivated
• Own reliable vehicle.
• Excellent, communication and negotiation skills.
• Prioritising, time management and organisation skills.
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
