Studio[K]irmack, one of South Africa's leading e-commerce photographic and digital content studios, is looking for a skilled photographer to join our dynamic team in Milnerton, Cape Town. Our studio is a bustling environment, working with top brands across various sectors, utilising advanced technologies like OrbitVu and Profoto.
Role overview:
As a Photographer at Studio[K]irmack, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality studio photography. This role involves capturing the essence and unique features of products while ensuring image consistency and meeting brand specifications.
What you'll do:
- Operate in a high-output studio environment, using OrbitVu, Profoto, Canon, and Apple systems.
- Collaborate with stylists for high-end e-commerce catalogue imagery (both product and on-model).
- Create visual assets that highlight products at their best.
- Maintain a high standard of detail and manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Provide excellent customer service and be flexible with your schedule, including potential weekend work.
- Adhere closely to client brand guidelines and product style guides.
- Manage file-naming and metadata protocols for accurate digital asset handling.
- Maintain and oversee the equipment used in the studio.
- Interface directly with clients as part of studio workflow processes.
- You are the ideal candidate if you have at least 2 - 3 years of experience in e-commerce studio photography.
- Experience in fashion, product and jewellery photography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite.
- Experience with image file preparation and asset management.
- A keen eye for detail, speed, and quality of output.
- A degree / diploma in photography or visual communication is advantageous.
- Design and video editing skills advantageous.
- Would like to learn more and experience lifestyle shoots.
