Andrea Ziella to lead Mattel SA's marketing

Former Mattel Italy senior business unit manager Andrea Ziella has been appointed Mattel South Africa's new head of marketing and trade marketing. Ziella has been tasked with managing the company's trade, marketing, and digital development in the country.

Ziella joined Mattel Italy in 2012 and, during his time at the company, developed category management projects for the offline and online channels in addition to launching the 'La Scatola dei Giocattoli' platform and supervised the digitalisation process for the entire European south-east area. Ziella graduated in marketing management at Bocconi University, he has also gained an in-depth experience in the luxury market (Chanel) and the large-scale retail (Carrefour) segments.
