New board member for South African tourism

Cabinet has approved the appointment of Sizakele Mzimela as a board member of the destination marketing organisation, South African tourism.

Mzimela is currently the chief executive officer for South African Express Airways. She started her career with Standard Bank of South Africa in the small business and retail division, and later moved on to Total South Africa.

Before her appointment as CEO of SAA Express, Mzimela worked at South African Airways (SAA) overseeing SAA's airport operations locally and globally focusing on sales and strategy for Europe, Africa, Americas, North and South Asia.
