WeChat turns TV into e-commerce channel
Utilising technology from WeChat, television viewers can scan a QR code from a television advert and have five products from Futurelife delivered free to their home from 9 September to 9 October on DSTV channels.
WeChat will also be giving customers R50 cash back to their wallet, once the customers have purchased Futurelife, to purchase other goods (such as airtime) on WeChat Wallet.
