Media personalities to judge battle of the bands competition

OFM radio personality Kenzy Vinco and Beeld Jip journal editor Marzahn Botha are among the judges of Rockspaaider, a battle of the bands competition for high school learners to become tomorrow's music legends. This year, the competition - a Jip project for the past few years is teaming up with Afrikaans music channel MK to turn the band search into a reality TV show. Together with Studio 1's Elma Smit, Ef-El's lead singer Fritz and Straatligkinders' lead singer Bouwer Bosch, Vinco and Botha will travel the country with TV cameras in search of new talent and the best of the regional legs will play against each other to compete for the winning title. The show will air on MK channel 324 from 16 September 2009.
