Animated ad platform booked out for Q1
Primedia Unlimited reported last week that its animated advertising platform Mamba Media has sold out of all available advertising packages for the first quarter of 2009. Said Andrew Kramer, group MD for Mamba Media, “The Vusi Vuzela concept, which appears weekly in the Daily Sun in the form of a full page animated cartoon storyboard, subtly weaves the advertiser's message into the storyline of what has become a highly anticipated feature for Daily Sun readers.” Advertisers who have used, and continue to make use of Vusi Vuzela and his iconic following, include motor vehicle manufacturers, financial institutions and FMCG products.
