Political transit ad ban vote in NY
"No political ads please, we're commuting."
That's the message you'll get from the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), as it's made the move to ban any political advertising along buses, subways and transit routes in the city.
This bold move, put into motion yesterday following a positive vote by the MTA's board, comes after an ad stating "Killing Jews is worship that draws us close to Allah," - among others - prompted safety concerns, says International Business Times.
