Who are we looking for

An experienced Factory Manager – Packaging to lead the operations of a high-volume plastics and packaging manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities, extensive manufacturing experience and the ability to manage large teams in a dynamic production environment


What you will do

    • Oversee end-to-end operations of the packaging manufacturing plant, ensuring production efficiency and optimal output
    • Lead and manage multiple departments to ensure seamless coordination and workflow
    • Implement and monitor quality assurance standards to meet production targets and product specifications
    • Drive operational strategies, cost control and resource optimisation to enhance productivity
    • Ensure adherence to compliance, safety regulations and manufacturing best practices
    • Manage plant performance, equipment maintenance and automation processes
    • Develop and mentor staff, fostering a high-performance and safety-focused culture
    • Prepare operational reports, budgets and improvement plans for management review
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across production lines

What you will need

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (advanced degree advantageous)
    • Minimum of 10 years’ manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role
    • Strong background in the beverage or plastics industry is preferred
    • Proven experience managing large plants with sizable work forces
    • Solid understanding of manufacturing technologies, automation systems and production line management
    • Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to drive operational excellence and maintain high safety and quality standards
