Role Overview

We are looking for a driven and organised intern to join our team as a Project Manager for AI Development. You will work closely with our CEO and development teams to coordinate and deliver cutting-edge AI automation projects for clients across multiple industries.

This is not a typical internship – you will gain hands-on experience managing real AI projects, from workflow automation and intelligent agents to marketing analytics platforms and data integration pipelines.


Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate AI development projects from scoping through to delivery, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients
• Track project milestones, manage backlogs, and maintain project documentation
• Assist in defining project requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for AI solutions
• Support sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives using agile methodologies
• Help manage resource allocation across concurrent AI projects
• Contribute to internal process improvement and the development of project management frameworks for our growing AI practice
• Prepare project status reports and presentations for clients and leadership

Requirements

• Recently completed a degree in Project management, Business, IT, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum NQF 5
• Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with project management concepts (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban is a plus)
• Experience with tools such as Monday.com, Jira, Asana, or similar platforms is advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
• The candidate must be Cape Town-based
• Reliable laptop and high speed internet.
• Access to a quiet, private workspace (no public areas such as cafés) 

Bonus Points

• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts, APIs, or workflow automation tools.
• Exposure to digital marketing or performance marketing environments
• Familiarity with data analytics or business intelligence tools
• Previous internship or project experience in a tech or agency setting
