He has 15 years' experience within the music and entertainment industry encompassing marketing, brand management, artist management, business affairs, royalties, legal and licencing, sponsorships, production, promotions import and distribution and events and tours. He has worked with many well established music business entities within the South African music scene such as Alter Ego Record Company, Electromode Music / ILC Johannesburg and more recently, he worked for NBC Universal International Television Distribution as part of their flagship in South Africa. He currently freelances for Sony Music Publishing; sourcing, negotiating and brokering of synchronization deals.
Paul is entrepreneurial in nature and has also had his own company, Razer, which offers worldwide representation of artists in the music industry. He has achieved much success with signing South African artists and growing their brands. He has used his brand management skills to promote the careers of artists such as Jack Parow, The Narrow, Die Heuwels Fantasties, The Monroes, Inersha, The Cavaliers and Thieve. He was instrumental in creating the "Parow Braai Sauce" and the "Parow Shoe", in collaboration with Puma.
