MIS Administrator Technician

Requirements

• Min 3-5 years working experience in a relevant field
• Proven working experience as an IT / OT administrator, system administrator or relevant experience
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), patch management and cloud technologies
• Ability to create scripts in VB.net, HTML, Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, A+ or other language
• Internet security and data privacy principles
• Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
• Expert in computer hardware: PC’s, servers and VM etc.
• Experience with Microsoft active directory domain controllers
• Experience with VMWARE virtual technologies and backup methods
• Beneficial experience on Linux systems like Kubernetes
• Beneficial experience Network infrastructure, network setup and fire-wall configurations

Qualifications

• Matric (grade 12)
• National diploma/ BSc/BA: information technology: computer science or related
• Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
