Job description

  1. Purpose of the Role

The E-Learning Administrator is responsible for the functional maintenance and support of the company’s Learning Management System (LMS). You will manage user accounts, upload course content, troubleshoot technical issues, and generate data-driven reports to measure training effectiveness.

Requirements

  1. Key Responsibilities
  • LMS Administration: Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring accurate enrolment in specific learning pathways.
  • Content Management: Upload and configure SCORM or xAPI-compliant content, ensuring all modules, quizzes, and assessments function correctly across different devices.
  • Technical Support: Provide first-line support to learners and instructors, resolving login issues or system bugs promptly.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Generate monthly reports on completion rates, assessment scores, and learner engagement to help stakeholders track ROI and skill gaps.
  • System Maintenance: Monitor platform performance, coordinate updates with vendors, and ensure the system remains secure and compliant with data privacy laws.
  • Quality Assurance: Test new e-learning courses before rollout to ensure visual appeal and technical stability.
  1. Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Diploma in Educational Technology, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in LMS administration (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas, or TalentLMS).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS for troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies like ADDIE or SAM.
