Job description

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, handling policy amendments and claims, and contributing to business retention and growth through quality service and responsible upselling.


Key Responsibilities


Client Care and Administration
    • Keep clients informed of any changes to their risk profile or premiums
    • Assist with policy amendments (e.g., address, vehicle, driver changes)
    • Conduct quality control checks on every client interaction
    • Explain policy cover clearly and accurately
    • Handle policy reinstatements, cancellations, and refunds
    • Maintain accurate records and complete daily registers
    • Ensure all documents are correctly scanned and filed
    • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance standards


Essential Skills and Attributes
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Professional and client-focused attitude
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
    • Good relationship-building skills
    • High level of confidentiality and discretion

Knowledge and Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
    • Experience with administrative systems (advantageous)
    • Familiarity with insurance policy wording (advantageous)

Qualifications and Experience
    • Matric (minimum requirement)
    • Previous experience in insurance, customer service, or administration will be advantageous
