Who We Are Looking For:
A passionate and dynamic PR and Media professional with strong media relationships and a proven track record in executing integrated communications strategies. This role requires someone who can manage multiple priorities, craft compelling narratives and drive earned visibility for clients and talent across Africa and global markets.

What You Will Do:



    • Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with local and international media in entertainment, lifestyle and cultural sectors

    • Proactively pitch stories, interviews and thought - leadership pieces to secure high-impact media coverage

    • Manage media queries, approvals and sign-offs efficiently and professionally

    • Contribute to the development and execution of annual and campaign-specific PR strategies

    • Maintain a forward-looking PR calendar aligned with client milestones, launches and key cultural moments

    • Support integrated campaign planning alongside digital, influencer and creative teams

    • Draft, edit and distribute compelling media materials -  press releases, op-eds, statements and features  - with attention to tone, accuracy and brand voice

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to identify story opportunities and narrative angles reflecting cultural impact

    • Monitor media coverage and prepare detailed reports with insights, analysis and recommendations

    • Evaluate campaign impact, identify trends and propose continuous improvements

    • Track media sentiment and provide actionable feedback to inform communications strategy



What You Will Need:



    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in PR, media or communications within entertainment, culture or lifestyle sectors

    • Proven track record in media pitching, content development and PR campaign execution

    • Strong network of contacts within South African and international media

    • Excellent writing and editing skills with a sharp eye for narrative and detail

    • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

    • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, comfortable using PR tools and media monitoring systems

    • Deep interest in African storytelling, cultural trends and global entertainment
