Job description
- Career opportunity for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Procurement Assistant / Technical Buyer to support the procurement of printing supplies, raw materials, and consumables in a label printing and packaging manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Matric
- Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Administration is advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Buyer, Procurement Assistant, or similar role within the printing, packaging, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, raw materials, and equipment.
- Understanding of reel slitting, material thickness, GSM, and conversion from SQM to LM/KG.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and Word.
- Familiarity with ERP/procurement software and inventory management systems (Syspro experience advantageous).
- Own transport
- Valid license
