Key responsibilities:- Manage and maintain accurate stock levels of all food items, including dry goods and fresh produce.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes.
- Monitor and control stock movement and implement strict loss control measures.
- Ensure accurate capturing of stock data on internal systems.
- Understand and monitor food costing and margins.
- Identify and report on wastage, implement measures to reduce stock losses.
- Manage receiving and issuing procedures.
- Liaise with suppliers and oversee deliveries for accuracy and quality.
- Assist in compiling and maintaining accurate stock and costing reports.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient stockroom environment.
Requirements:- Minimum five years of experience in food stock control or food service management.
- Strong knowledge of fresh produce handling and perishables management.
- Proven understanding of costing, pricing, and gross profit calculations.
- High attention to detail and excellent administrative skills.
- Ability to enforce systems and ensure strict control.
- Computer literate with experience on stock or POS systems.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and structure.
