What is required:- A tertiary education qualification (degree or diploma).preferably in Social Sciences, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations or any related field
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Between 18 and 34 years.
- Live within 40 km of our offices/site, which is situated in Woodstock, Cape Town.
- Are willing to participate in a credit and criminal check or any industry-specific checks required for the job.
Responsibilities (including, but not exclusive to):- Engage with individual Feenix students to support their fundraising efforts
- Assist with tasks related to the wrap around support services such as participating in online engagements such as webinars and addressing student queries related to the Feenix offering
- Provide timely and effective resolution to student queries regarding the utilization of support service platforms
- Support student ambassadors with recruitment efforts and on- campus events
- Encourage and motivate students to actively participate in various support services offered by Feenix; Black Bullion, Job Readiness platform, Webinars etc.
- Create a comprehensive directory listing available support services at all 26 public universities and facilitate student access to resources.
- Gather feedback from students benefiting from Feenix's support services to evaluate their satisfaction levels and measure service effectiveness, i.e. bursary and funded students
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for engaging students through campus radio, newsletters, and events
- Collaborate with the Student Advancement Manager, Sustainability and Development department to analyze data and extract insights that inform improvements in student support initiatives
- Assist the Student Advancement Team with additional tasks as needed (SAT Admin SOP officer, GDrive updating and cleanup.)
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the Student Advancement Team's activities, e.g capturing student details after activations
- Elevate the Feenix Brand – drive communication that is authentic, simple and transparent
