Tru-Cape Fruit Marketing has appointed Johan Brink and Calla du Toit to its board of directors, reinforcing leadership with over 20 years of internal experience each. Their deep understanding of the business and close ties to the grower community position them to contribute meaningfully as the company navigates new strategic priorities.
The appointments coincide with Tru-Cape’s renewed focus on expanding its footprint in African and local markets, as well as collaborating with non-shareholder producers. A newly opened office in Paarl will support these goals, with Brink leading efforts to develop the African and local market segment into a standalone business unit and to broaden the Tru-Cape brand offering beyond apples and pears.
