Morningstar SA hires new portfolio manager as it seeks to expand

Morningstar Investment Management South Africa has appointed Sean Neethling as portfolio manager and will look after Morningstar South Africa 's local portfolios as the company celebrates continued growth.

In his new role, Neethling will be responsible for Morningstar's domestic portfolio SA. Although based in the Cape Town office, he is part of the global investment team.

Neethling has over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has a bachelor's degree in economics and information systems as well as postgraduate finance honours and masters' degrees from UCT. He is currently a PhD candidate at UCT researching fundamental investment strategies in global bond and equity markets.
