Boardwalk appoints new hotel duty managers

The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino has appointed two new hotel duty managers, Lubabalo Gxaleka and Busisiwe Vellem, to uphold the high standards of the four-star Sun International beachfront hotel. They oversee front office operations, manage staff morale and performance, and ensure the hotel operates efficiently. They alternate shifts to ensure 24-hour coverage.

Gxaleka brings expertise with a bachelor of commerce in hospitality management and project management experience, along with certification in hotel industry analytics. Vellem, who has been with Boardwalk since 2012, has risen through the ranks and now collaborates with Gxaleka in managing a team of 13.
