Botha named Old Mutual unit trusts MD

Old Mutual has appointed Elize Botha as the new Old Mutual unit trusts managing director. Botha will report directly to Old Mutual Wealth chief executive officer, Kerrin Land, from 1 November 2016.

Botha has a strategic leadership qualification from INSEAD as well as a BA in law and an LLB degree from the University of Johannesburg. Her experience in the financial services industry spans 19 years and has involved crafting strategies and leading various distribution teams at some of the largest financial institutions in South Africa.

Most recently, Botha has been leading distribution strategy and execution function at Ashburton Investments, across local, international, retail and institutional channels.
