Ryan Kruger feature film debut to premiere at Cinequest Film Fest

The South African sci-fi/horror, Fried Barry, is set to make its premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival in California on 6 March 2020. The feature film directing debut of music video director, Ryan Kruger, Fried Barry follows the outlandish tale of a heroin addict whose body is hijacked by an alien visitor.

The film features a cast of local and international actors including Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Pirates of the Caribbean 3, Black Sails), Sean Cameron Michael (MacGyver, 24) and Chanelle De Jager (The Widow, Outlander).

Fried Barry is the only African-made feature film in this year's Cinequest Film Festival programme.
