2018 Adventure Film Challenge entries are open

Cape Union Mart has announced that the entries for its 2018 Adventure Film Challenge are now open. Interested filmmakers may submit a YouTube link to a five-minute film, showcasing a passion for outdoor adventure on www.banff.co.za.

Submissions will be judged on storyline, creativity, originality, visual composition and technical execution, along with editing, sound, music and overall impression.

The winning submission will be screened alongside international adventure films at the Banff Mountain Film Festival to be shown in Ster-Kinekor cinemas countrywide. The 2018 Adventure Film Challenge winner will also receive a R10,000 cash prize and K-Way gear to the value of R5,000.

Entries close at 12pm on 30 June 2018.
