Nuy Winery gives back to cellar workers and shareholders
In August 2010, the Nuy Winery board formed the Keerom Landbou Beperk, an initiative that gives cellar workers one hectare red and one hectare white Muscat grapes, as well as providing profitability through land use to shareholders.
Best known for their top Muskat, Nuy Winery won the prestigious 2016 Veritas Award for top producer of this harvest and are also fortified wine award winners to their Barbieri Idro Red Muskadel.
The grapes were first delivered to the winery in 2011 and receive a premium per tonne payment.
