Zeitz MOCAA announces passing of executive director Koyo Kouoh

Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) is deeply saddened by the sudden passing of its executive director and chief curator, Koyo Kouoh, on Saturday, 10 May 2025.

In honour of her remarkable legacy and leadership, the public is invited to pay their respects at the Scheryn Arena on Level 0 of the museum, daily from 10am to 6pm (last entry at 5.30pm). Visitors are welcome to leave messages of condolence and remembrance in the space.
