The Press Ombud rules on Dasnois case
A ruling passed by the The Press Ombudsman on Monday has called for the Independent Media to apologise to Alide Dasnois, former editor of The Cape Times. This ruling comes in response to the Independent Media's coverage of a settlement between the media group and Dasnois earlier this year regarding her editorial decisions exercised in the Cape Times' coverage of Nelson Mandela's death.
