Mall of Thembisa calls for assistance
The Mall of Thembisa in Clayville says it has received reliable intel that it has been marked as a target in the ongoing looting and unrest that is currently taking place in Gauteng. This, after it came under significant attack from high caliber, live ammunition throughout Tuesday night, which is was able to repel.
It says it has now been "credibly confirmed" that it will face more intense and organised attacks on Wednesday night, 14 July, and is calling on law enforcement agencies, SANDF and government to assist it in protecting the mall.
