My Period is Awesome campaign, empowering the youth

Project Dignity, and Swedish NPO, Wise Economy Global Association, have partnered up in an effort to get rid of stigma associated with menstruation by offering young woman a solution in managing their menses by supplying them with Subz Pants and Pads, which are reusable and environmentally friendly.

Working on the My Period is Awesome campaign, which kicked off in March 2017, the two non-profit organisations, with the aid of Sonke Gender Justice, have created dignified solutions for menstrual management and will, through distribution of the pads, provide informative talks on sexual and reproductive health and rights issues, as well as create and nurture healthy relationships between men, women, and the youth.
