MAD Network goes live

The launch party for The MAD Network was a success with featured artists Josie Field, Auriol Hays, Walt and Cito all donating their time as a sign of their commitment to the social network that is Making A Difference. The network went live on Saturday night, 5 November 2011. The brainchild of Doug Anderson, it has been 12 months in planning and development; it combines the social media phenomenon with an innate human desire to assist charities while not having enough disposable income to do so. Every time a MAD person is exposed to an ad or interacts with an ad they earn points (cents) which can then be allocated to charities of their choice. The charities then exchange their points for money from The MAD Network.
