
SA production wins BANFF Special Jury Award
Ochre and Water, a 53-minute documentary on the threat posed by the creation of an hydroelectric dam development on the Himba people of Northern Namibia's pastoral way of life, has won a Special Jury Award at this year's BANFF Television Festival in Canada. Directed by Craig Matthew and Joelle Chesselet, the documentary was produced by Doxa Productions in collaboration with the Desert Research Foundation of Namibia.
