Charlize nominated for a Golden Globe

Oscar award-winner Charlize Theron has been nominated for a Golden Globe Award for best actress in dramatic film. North Country portrays Charlize as Josey Aimes, a woman miner leading a sexual harassment lawsuit. No stranger to this award, her role in Monster landed her the Golden Globe (and not to forget, Oscar) in 2004. This year she will go up against the likes of Maria Bello in A History of Violence, Gwyneth Paltrow in Proof, Ziyi Zhang in Memoirs of a Geisha and Felicity Huffman in Transamerica.
