New digital platform offers cash back for recommendations

FriendTips is a new social platform that launched in South Africa this week and will provide cash back to anyone who successfully recommends concerts and events, concepts, products and services to their friends.

Those influencers, aware of exciting events and products can purchase tickets through the FriendTips website and make money in the process when they get their friends to follow their advice, receiving 10% back on every additional ticket sold.

FriendTips is the brainchild of Kosie van Niekerk who joined forces with digital marketing partner, Lumico, to create awareness about the platform. Computicket, Sony Music and Select Music proudly support the site's first promotion, among others.
