Rooi Rose food editor Vickie de Beer was recently announced as the Food Writer of the Year at the 16th annual Galliova Awards, judged by experienced foodies Lannice Snyman, Marty Klinzman and Dora Sitole. Other winners within the Caxton stable include Marlo Carstens from Vrouekeur and Kanyacilla Hunt of Food & Home Entertaining.
