Job description
CMT is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Communications Coordinator to support the development, execution and monitoring of integrated communications campaigns. The role includes content creation, social media coordination, campaign support, media monitoring and administrative assistance, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities (

Communications and campaign support- Collaborate with internal teams to develop communications strategies, campaign goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts and messaging for communications campaigns.
- Assist with campaign research, brand development, and user experience testing.
- Support research for short documentary inserts and campaign-related content.
Social media coordination- Develop and implement monthly social media content plans aligned with organisational objectives.
- Generate engaging content across multiple social media platforms in line with brand guidelines.
- Review and coordinate approval of social media content produced by content creators prior to publication.
- Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and mentions, responding appropriately and timeously.
- Track and report on social media performance using analytics and reporting tools..
Media Monitoring and reporting- Monitor and capture campaign-related media coverage and notifications.
- Compile information and supporting evidence for PR and Media Activity Evidence Reports.
Stakeholder and partner support- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with partners involved in campaign execution.
Administrative and operational support- Take accurate meeting minutes and distribute them timeously.
- Prepare, edit and format communications, presentations and other documents.
- Provide switchboard relief when required.
- Perform ad hoc duties reasonably required to support the communications team.

Minimum Requirements- A relevant tertiary qualification in Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in a communications, social media or coordination role.
- Demonstrated experience in social media content planning, coordination and monitoring across multiple platforms.
- Basic working knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks, meet deadlines and work under pressure.
- Experience in administrative support, including minute-taking and document preparation.
- Good organisational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
- A valid driver’s licence.
