The African arm of the business employs over 1,000 people and has offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban and Accra. It has 3 brands under its Connected Media practice - Zenith, Starcom and Peformix, and in the Intelligent Content practice has Machine, LePub, Digitas, Publicis Commerce, Incentiv, Prodigious, PMX and MSL.
The RoleWe are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join the New Business team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Completing RFI documents with all the statutory information for all the various brands within the Groupe.
- Completing shortlisting questionaires with all the Statutory Information for all the various brands within the Groupe.
- Maintining a repository of information ie. Credentials, case studies, pitch presentations etc for all the brands within the Groupe.
- Tracking budget spend on pitches of Groupe importance.
- Project management of all pitches of Groupe importance (these are the very large integrated pitches) ensuring all reviews and dry runs are diarized, all production of pitch elements are delivered timeously, the necessary resources are booked on the pitch, development of a timing plan, submission of the pitch presentation as per the pitch requirements.
- Doing a reccie on the presentation venue to understand seating arrangements, equipments available and logistics for the pitch presentation are understood to ensure a seamless pitch experience.
- Market research: quarterly update on pitch activity in the market. Tracking our success against our competitors.
- Prospecting: Assisting capability leads with client mapping for prospects they are targeting.
- Working closely with the sales force champion to ensure that information on the system is kept up to date.
Qualifications- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in agency. Project management skills.
Skills- Proven track record in project management of complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Advantage: Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce) and other business development tools.
