Their mission is to empower South Africans to achieve energy independence through accessible and cost-effective alternative power solutions.Job Purpose:The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales performance, business growth, and operational effectiveness across the Cape Town region. This senior-level position requires a dynamic leader with strong sales acumen, strategic foresight, and the ability to lead and motivate a regional team to consistently meet and exceed targets.

Key responsibilities:
  • Regional sales leadership: Manage and execute regional sales strategies to achieve company targets and increase market share.
  • Team management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional sales and support team.
  • Business development: Identify growth opportunities, build new client relationships, and maintain existing key accounts.
  • Performance monitoring: Track sales metrics, provide regular reports to the National Manager, and adjust strategies to improve results.
  • Operational oversight: Ensure that all regional activities align with company standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Customer experience: Uphold high levels of customer service and client satisfaction across all interactions.
  • Financial management: Manage regional budgets, control operational expenses, and drive profitability.
  • Market intelligence: Stay abreast of regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategy.
  • Reporting and compliance: Provide regular performance reports to management and ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Minimum requirements:
  • Matric (Grade 12) (compulsory)
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales, Business Management, or a related field (advantageous)
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a regional sales or operations management role, ideally within the renewable energy, telecoms, or financial services sectors
  • Proven leadership abilities and experience managing sales teams across multiple locations
  • Strong experience in developing and executing sales strategies
  • Financial oversight and budget management capabilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans
  • Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport (essential)
