Junior Designer/Developer

The IMS team is on the lookout for a junior designer with a sharp eye for detail, a love for clean design, and a knack for turning ideas into beautiful digital experiences. You’ll be responsible for crafting the look and feel of client campaigns across banners, brochures, email and web — from layout, colour, and typography to banners and UI elements.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes design but can also bring those visuals to life. You’ll be involved in:

• Designing visually compelling email marketing layouts
• Developing web content and components with strong brand consistency
• Creating custom graphics, banners, and page templates in Photoshop (or your design tool of choice)
• Styling and maintaining WordPress sites (themes, child themes, and a bit of pixel-perfect magic)

You're perfect for this position if you:

• Have a Tertiary qualification with a major in multimedia design/web design or
• Have a recent portfolio of work
• Know something about front-end technologies, including HTML5, Javascript and CSS3.
• Know the basics or have used Adobe Photoshop and WordPress CMS.
• Have a minimum of one to two years web experience.
• Love creating videos and animations.

Responsibilities:

• Work in our development/design team and design, create, edit and maintain websites, mailers, brochures, social posts, images and videos.

Extra points if you:

• Have experience in working with Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects and have a basic understanding of PHP.
