Mofokwane, who is known for designing for real-life women, says her collection is inspired by the tea party. She said she would send doll-like dresses that are demure and chic down the ramp.
"I am showing very bold designs that are extremely feminine, figure-hugging and very pretty. I have used lots and lots of prints, something I have not used for a very long time. Let me say it was a leap of faith on my part.
"These garments are elegant enough to take you from work to wedding, with just a change of shoes," the designer, who holds a BTech in Fashion Design from the Tshwane University of Technology, said.
Mofokwane said all 10 pieces of her "will unleash the little girl in you, or high society lady taking afternoon tea with a friend. The dresses are best worn with heels if you don't want to overdo the little-girl look".
She says she has used lots and lots of khakhis with florals. Catch Sober on Sunday at 5.30pm. She will share the stage with Smarteez, Mabu, Elme Bekker, Hoiden, Laila Baderoon and Joel Janse van Vuuren.
