The Hip Hop Media Lounge has won the account to event manage the first ever Western Cape Woman in Tourism Awards 2004.
On Wednesday, 24th March the Ministry of Tourism and Gambling is honouring 'Western Cape Women in Tourism' at the Unsung Stars Awards 2004 ceremony to be held at the Marco's African Place in Cape Town. Twelve women who are actively involved in the tourism industry in the Western Cape have been nominated for awards. This is the first time that these awards are being held.
The Ministry of Tourism launched the Unsung Stars Awards to honour the women in various regions of the Western Province who have contributed to the development of tourism over the years, not only for their own sake or that of their businesses, but also for the benefit of those around them and the broader community.
